Elevation hazards, worksite conditions and methods
Depending on the case, the investigation may address elevation-related conditions, worksite safety, the means and methods of the work and relevant project information. Site documentation, photographs, video and records can help connect the reported sequence to the physical evidence.
Technical analysis of relevant criteria
HUB examines relevant engineering principles and Industrial Code provisions within the agreed scope. Any technical criterion must be evaluated in relation to the actual work, condition and date at issue. An engineering analysis does not replace counsel’s determination of the legal claims or the court’s legal decisions.
Reports and expert testimony
HUB explains engineering opinions in reports and technical exhibits and provides consultation, deposition and trial testimony when required by the engagement.
Before an engagement
Questions from counsel
Does HUB provide legal opinions about Labor Law liability?
No. HUB supplies engineering analysis of the facts and technical issues. Counsel addresses the legal theories, and legal determinations remain with the court.
Can the investigation use photographs and records if the site changed?
HUB assesses whether the available evidence supports an engineering analysis and explains the limitations created by changes or missing information.
